Mission
  • The candidate will be involved in the activities related to the Data Governance Framework in collaboration with the relevant roles in the Bank and Data Office Coordination (Parent Company)
Responsibility
  • Define/ adjust Data Governance and Data Quality model for the bank accordingly with the Parent Company Framework
  • Manage Data Governance and Data Quality to address any data-related issues, including the definition of business strategies on data, addressing areas of risk or criticality, addressing the assessment of technological architecture functional adequacy
  • Coordinate and support the local IT Department to ensure adequate governance and quality of the data  
  • Manage Bank data models, and oversee the renovation of the Data Dictionaries, Reports and Controls
  • Monitor the overall quality of data through appropriate Key Quality Indicators and recommend improvement actions
  • Promote "data culture", stimulating an efficient, effective and innovative data use, also through data analysis services, and recommend solutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and integrity of information and overall consistency
  • Coordinate the data component of the Bank’s projects, from the data requirement definition, data analysis, model definition, and data collection, to feeding the Governance System
  • Collaborate with ICT functions on the architecture definition and the IT strategy of the Group Data Governance System
  • Liaise with IT providers in implementing data solutions that enable the business to be data-driven while protecting the data assets 
Profile
  • At least 4/5 years of experience in a bank environment and/or big four/major consultancy firms in the relevant area
  • Master/bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced knowledge of English. Italian and French would be a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance/Data Quality
  • Good knowledge of Data Analysis and Modelling
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IT data handling and classification
  • Understanding of software applications, design tools and language
  • Good understanding of bank processes
  • Good communication, analysis and presentation skills
