27 Swiss athletes will compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with the support of REYL Intesa Sanpaolo

REYL Intesa Sanpaolo has been supporting Swiss Paralympic, the umbrella organisation for Swiss paralympic sport, since 2019. Through this partnership, the Group supports the Swiss athletes participating in the Paralympic Games from August 28th to September 8th, 2024. In the French capital, the Swiss Paralympic delegation is aiming for 14 medals, as it did at the last Games.

The Paralympic Games serve as a powerful platform to showcase the indomitable spirit and determination of para-athletes, who overcome physical challenges to compete at the highest level. Their unwavering dedication and commitment to their craft exemplify the values that REYL Intesa Sanpaolo holds dear - resilience, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. This year, Switzerland will be competing in 9 of the 22 categories: badminton, cycling, equestrian, judo, athletics, rowing, swimming, shooting, and tennis. It will be the country’s first participation in the judo and rowing categories. The youngest athlete of the Swiss team, swimmer Leo McCrea, is only 20 years old.
